From RollDex to RollX: The Evolution of On-Chain Perpetuals (2024 Q2 – 2025 Q3)

The journey began with RollDex on Bitlayer, the first BTC-native perpetual DEX to integrate Bitcoin assets as collateral and liquidity — winning 1st place in the Bitlayer Ecosystem Grant.

Building on that foundation, RollDex evolved into RollX, expanding to Base, where it achieved exponential growth — surpassing record trading volumes, attracting tens of thousands of users, and forming deep liquidity integrations with Binance Web3 Wallet and OKX Wallet.
